Welcome back to existing members, and if you are considering joining the club, welcome!!!
The 2013 season is about to begin, and whether you like to run/walk for fun, fitness, in a group, or have a competitive streak, HVH caters for all abilities.
Running or walking with a group can provide numerous benefits from making new friends to gaining a few training tips and improving fitness.
HVH is the largest running/walking club in the Hutt Valley, based in Petone, Lower Hutt, and proudly the home of New Zealand Olympian Nick Willis. HVH is a friendly family-oriented club; a creche operates on club days and we cater for all ages from primary school to seniors and masters.
The club primarily meets Saturday afternoons at 1:30pm from April through to October during the season for club walks and runs which usually start from the Clubrooms at the Petone Recreation Ground.
HVH prides itself on its club sprit and the fun social side of walking and running with a number of social events held throughout the season, in addition to non-competitive and competitive walks and runs. A listing of club events can be found on the club website.
To find out more about HVH we welcome you to come along to our registration or open days, or read more on our website. The website is currently being updated, so please come back regularly as more information is added.
Alternatively talk to a member or contact the club president Tony McKone (027 698 2123 firstname.lastname@example.org) or club captain Julia Baron (04 973 1436 email@example.com) who will be happy to answer any questions.
