Hutt Valley Harriers Speedwork sessions are back for 2019.  This is run on a Tuesday from 6pm in the Riverbank Carpark opposite countdown, wet or fine!

They are run by experienced speedster, Bill Trompetter with sessions designed to benefit members of all speeds and ability, and are tailored to match the demands of the events over the season.

So don’t be shy and come along to improve your running – and feel free to bring along non club members to experience what Hutt Valley Harriers can offer!

As usual we will be encouraging members to compete in Wellington Region events.

In addition this year we hope to enter teams in two other major events – the North Island Cross Country Champs in Taupo (in July) and the Road Relay Champs in Feilding (in October).

We have fielded teams in Taupo before and generally members have travelled with their families.

These outside trips have been very successful in terms of team bonding. We encourage members to consider taking part in these events this year

If you have a Facebook account, then join us on Facebook.

We post event details and also share photos from Club events on our Facebook page and invite members to contribute both their pictures and stories too.

If you are in need of running gear, pop along to the Lower Hutt Shoe Clinic, High Street, Lower Hutt and see Rob McNeil and the team.  They’ll sort you out for your next pair of shoes, shorts, or tops.

Tell them you’re a member of HVH and 10% of your purchase value gets donated back to the Club at the end of the year. You can also earn loyalty points towards a $50 discount voucher that you can use on future purchases.
