Hutt Valley Harriers 1923 – 2023
In April 1923, the newly formed Hutt Valley Harriers set out on their first run. In June 2023, they had a long weekend of celebrations as the club turned 100 years old.
On Friday 2nd June the club hosted an evening of mixing and mingling for members old and new, and on Saturday 3rd, with the support of Olympic Harriers, we had a combined club run and afternoon tea with a fantastic and very on-brand orange HVH Centenary cake.

On the evening of Saturday 3rd June, we held a Centenary dinner with fine food, dodgy beer, and some of the hardest bread rolls that you could ever encounter. Tony has created videos of the formal parts of the proceedings from Saturday evening including the various centenary dinner speeches, and two great interviews that Rees Buck made with successful former members, Jono Wyatt and Nick Willis, discussing some of their careers and their memories of Hutt Valley Harriers.
