11 August 2001Not so muddy as the last run at Clareville! Top results for Valleys were from John Wood and Diane Rogers who each took second place in their respective veteran categories Dave Murgatroyd's rematch with Paul Forster in the VM40 age group resulted in a third place for Dave. Participation paid off with Valleys taking second place in four of the championship teams events and one of the non-championship junior grades. In addition a number of Valleys runners represented Wellington Centre at the Championships.
