We hope to have a draft of the new constitution available by this time – for compliance with the new legislation, the club has to have a new constitution in place by April 2026.
If you’re keen to help out, please think about volunteering for the committee. It’s not a huge commitment, and you get to help keep this great club going. We are particularly looking for someone to take on the club Secretary role. If you’re interested and you want to know more, feel free to talk to any of the current committee about what’s involved.
Rebecca Reed is also going to be standing down as the club’s junior coordinator, so if you feel like you have something to offer here, please do. You don’t have to be a member of the committee for this role, just enthusiastic about making sure that the younger club members are looked after, know when there are races on and how to sign up, and that sort of thing. Rebecca can tell you more.
