You can register directly through the Gameday web site for Hutt Valley Harriers.
There is a 15% discount off Athletics NZ fees available to families who register 3 or more members at the same time and with the same member type, i.e., 3 or more Annual memberships or 3 Winter season memberships. This will be applied automatically in the payment section.
Registration Instructions
Login using your details from last year, you can request a password reset if you don’t remember your password. If your email is not found, or you are a first time registrant, then you can register a new account.
Select either:
- Linked (if you are a returning member), or
- New Participant (if you are a new member)
1. Basic info
Enter or, if Linked, check your basic information and select a Member Type from the options offered:

2. Products
Product type selections are all mandatory and pre-selected for you.
3. Questions
Fill out your postcode and tick the box to agree with the Athletics NZ terms and conditions and refund policy. You can also provide optional details here.
4. Summary
Check the summary to ensure that you’ve made the right selections. You can now either add another participant (e.g., another family member enrolling at the same time), or make changes to your registration details.
If you have completed and checked all of the registrations that you want to do, select a payment method.
5. Payment
Finally, you will be taken to payment provider to pay for your selected registrations. Enter your payment details and submit to complete the transaction.
Note: all grades up to under 20 are age on 31 December 2024.
Any questions about payments need to be to the Club Treasurer, Mark Morriss, by email treasurer@hvh.org.nz. If you have difficulty making the required payment, please contact Mark in the first instance about this.
Competitive members will need to have paid their membership fees before they can compete in interclub events.
Social walkers/runners
Social membership is perfect for those that just want to enjoy their running or walking in a group environment. Social members are welcome to participate in all club runs and social events and can compete in Hutt Valley Harrier Club Races and club events (but not the interclub competitions and championship races that are held exclusively for athletes registered with Athletics New Zealand).
Competitive runners/walkers
Don’t be fooled by the name! It says “competitive”, but the emphasis is still on having fun. Competitive members are welcome to compete in all races (including interclub events and championship races), club runs and social events. Competitive membership fees include Athletics New Zealand affiliation fees, and race entry fees for all the Wellington interclub races listed in the syllabus.
Age grades for competitions are based on an athlete’s age as of 31 December at end of the current year.
