Hutt Valley Harriers offers structured coaching sessions for both junior and senior runners throughout the season.
Junior coaching runs on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4.15pm to 5.30pm, providing a fun and supportive environment for young athletes to build confidence, fitness, and good running habits.
Senior coaching is held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6.15pm to 7.45pm, catering to runners of all abilities who are keen to improve their technique, fitness, and performance.
Our sessions are led by two experienced and dedicated coaches — Owen Westerhout for juniors and David Lewis for seniors. Each session includes a guided warm‑up, running drills, and structured training, with coaches always available to offer advice and support to help members get the most out of their running.
All coaching sessions meet at our club rooms at Petone Recreation Ground.
